Try the cooking exercise provided at this Web site. What might happen to the preparation of the food if you did not follow the directions?

Discuss what you learned from the activities. Then answer the following questions as a family:

• What can happen if you choose to ignore the directions given on a map or in a recipe?

• Would it make you more confident in following a recipe to know that the person writing the recipe is the one who created it? Why or why not?

• When you think about obeying (or disobeying!) God, do you consider that he is the creator of the universe and that he made you and has a plan for your life? If you did, would it change any of your life decisions? How?
